Pilgrimage

Red dust sticks to you and not just in the literal sense. I can still feel the red dirt on my feet, still feel the texture of it in my hands. I can still call on the stillness it left inside me at what was a tumultuous time in my life. This piece is born of the pull I have to return.

Oh, and I’m still afraid of Buffalos.

This object is intended as a wall hanging only, not a toy. While it’s lovely to get touchy feely with your piece every now and then,  excessive touching may upset its delicate balance.
